Novak and Erdogan pushing hard for a ceasefire.

Move the coup clock 1 minute closer to midnight for both, as the #neocons will be extremely unhappy.

seems like there wasn't anything to last night's rumors of russians getting pounded in retreat.  afaict, they managed to withdraw without significant losses of life or equipment.

Maybe DeSantis brokered a deal to allow safe passage across the river.

Violent ultranationalist Ukrainians in Kherson ignoring the fact that their city was annexed to Russia six weeks ago.

Ukraine . . . taking a little ground as the Russians pull back, and literally draining the stockpiles of countries across the globe in order to gain a few miles.  Meanwhile they beg for more weapons and more weapons platforms.  Burning through weapons components at a rate analysts once believed would only mean the United States and NATO was engaged in a multi-front war across the globe.

"US officials familiar with the deal said that the U.S. will purchase 100,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition that will be delivered to Ukraine, enough to supply Ukraine’s artillery units for at least several weeks of intensive combat,"

https://www.wsj.com/articles/south-korea-to-sell-arms-to-u-s-for-ukraine-11668116294

By the way, the shells they're getting from some countries . . . don't work. (the one's that did work, probably already on the black market)

No one, including me, thought the Russian military was this cowardly and impotent.  They retreating less than a year in.

Imagine if they had to fight a real military.   :'bye cruel world:

imagine the utter joy when the cruel invading force that raped your wives and daughters, tortured your brothers and sons, stole your babies and dishwashers while creating a trash pile wherever they paused to sleep is kicked out through force?  Just euphoria

then imagine some lizards telling you the germans might have to put on an extra blanket so maybe you have let them continue this terror.

Government military guys will never, ever, ever say “we don’t need anything else we are totally fine”

They survive by predicting the next super power or conflict and always saying we aren’t ready and need more expensive crap.

I’m fairly confident the US will not run out of killing machines and if they run low will be able to ramp up to make sure we have 100k bullets for every human on the globe.

Yes, and the defense contractors will say, "We can't ramp up production that quickly, unless you give us more money." And we will then give them that money.

Yes, the very least of my concerns is the American Military Industrial Complex leaving revenue on the table.

Glad we have them tho, and shame on me for not valuing them more…Ukraine has made this clear to me.

Going through munitions and weapons platforms at an unsustainable rate all for for a few kilometers of territory.

Meanwhile, blood thirsty arm chair #neocons @Pete just want more and more and more

Sad

we very clearly do not have the ability to quickly ramp up production.  that's not opinion, it is observable.
