I saw a good tweet recently but I cannot find it now. After Iraq and Afghanistan, this war is going about as well as we could ask for. Yet, we still have people bitching about it and wanting to end our support. This is good foreign policy.

Even better foreign policy would have been not continuously meddling in Ukraine, and not listening to the Kagan's, Wolfowitz's and Nuland's of the world, and not purposefully wrecking the negotiations to avoid a war.  These are the same people who were and are still convinced that the U.S. can export Democracy to other countries (typically by bombing them into the stone age). 

Never thought I'd see the day when #blueanongE like @bucket would be saddled up with the multi-generational #neocons, but here we are.

I don’t know that this has been some big win for Russia so I would think if anything this would scare me if I were Xi. But then again, Putin made a huge strategic blunder and Xi is certainly capable of the same.
