#neocongE - Enraged by Trumps words imploring NATO partners to spend more money on defense and to quit buying Russian natural gas

#neocongE - Perfectly pleased to see NATO partners under the thumb of US and spending more money on defense because of a proxy war in Ukraine, and they suffer internal and economic strife

France is burning

I don't think France needing to raise their retirement age from 62 to 64 has that much to do with the war in Ukraine.

Yes, that's exactly what we're saying.  France not having any money is the cause for the war in Ukraine.   :jerk:

Increased unrest in Europe, while notable warfare already rages there, is worth mentioning in a thread title possible WW3 iyam.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Maybe, but I really don't see this devolving into some sort of civil war. It seems more similar to the George Floyd protests to me. I wouldn't be too concerned if that were going on during the war in Ukraine, either.

All K-State educated people understand that this is not unprecedented response, but there's little doubt that certain factions within the labor movement are noting that Macron is tin cupping it on pensions while also advancing more support of Ukraine and other items they feel are not necessary.

It's always great to see we're in the midst of another passive aggressive rage Friday with StalkerBot.7

The fascinating thing is, StalkerBot.7 saved his usual passive aggressive wrath for me (BAU) and remains silent to the fact that I was merely responding to this . . .

It's a 6 to midnight moment for #neocongE when they're informed (because they certainly didn't already know) that U.S. troops remain in Syria on the basis of a military force authorization signed by George W. Bush 21 years ago.

There's also no doubt that #neocongE chubbed with pride when the Africom Commander let it be known that the U.S.feels a certain partnership and kinship with military coup leaders across Africa, most if not all were trained by these United States.   We also just threatened another African Nation with sanctions because of some internal legislation they passed . . . oh and the fact that a crap ton of gold deposits (like an estimated $1 trillion dollars worth) were just uncovered there.

The United States . . . winning hearts and minds via coups, bombing and sanctions.

Worth looking at the votes when we are talking about war mongering.

interesting, tense video.  in the comments someone mentioned that the uk drone operator calling in the artillery is in the trench and in the later part of the video you can see someone looking at a tablet screen.

Two NATO countries throw their security in with two neighboring European countries in a response to their perceived threat from Russia.  Those are four very sophisticated, free, democratic countries making their independent decision that their security is at risk because of Russia.

Even though NATO collectively spends over $2 trillion dollars a year on defense and the NATO name or participating country names have been attached to:  The bombing of the Balkans, the invasion and occupation of Iraq, the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, the overthrow of the Libyan government and subsequent decades long civil war, regime change in Egypt, attempted regime change in Syria and subsequent decades long proxy war and US occupation, multiple coup and coup attempts in Africa, constant meddling in the internal affairs of Ukraine and other former Soviet bloc states.

Only Russia is a threat.

That friendly artillery is falling very close to the UKR trench. Rumblings that the Russian effort to take Bahkmut may have reached a peak.
