Quote from: nicname on May 27, 2022, 11:11:14 PMNegotiate for peace.they seem to be under the strange delusion that fighting off the country that launched an unprovoked war of territorial aggression with an army that immediately began murdering, raping, kidnapping and enslaving people as soon as they crossed the border offers their people a better chance to live their lives and pursue their happinesses.
Negotiate for peace.
It's only a bad thing if they ultimately end up a Russian puppet state, anyway. It's still a good thing for other small countries in the area like Moldova, though.
Anything that fucks an autocrat straight up the ass is a good thing.
As long as the US is happy to pump billions of dollars of weapons in to Ukraine and Ukraine is happy to accept and fight I think this thing can go on for a long time. But I think there are plenty of questions as to whether that is a good thing from a number of perspectives.
