I'm with Pete on this one. I think he wants his cronies to be more like Rudy and be like "you got it bawth!" He firmly holds the belief that if you just keep saying something, and say it loud enough, that automatically makes it true. i think don truly believes the only reason he's not sitting in the oval office right now is b/c mike pence was in dereliction of his duty (i also don't think he would have minded one bit if the 1/6 mob would have somehow gotten to mike pence and strung him up, lets just set aside the fact that they would all taze their own cranks to death before successfully assassinating a sitting vice president)

so yeah, he's going to want someone who will steadfastly repeat whatever nonsense he's going on about, and to do it using a megaphone so that it drowns out anyone else trying to talk
