Thompson is an above average college QB and I love him for it. Is he Klein/Roberson/Bishop? No.

But I would put him on the same level as Waters/Beasley/May.

The comp is Ell as those are the two closest we've had to 4 year starters. Ell had 33 starts, this was Skylar's 36th.

All I know is Sky had like 150 passing yards today, but he made the plays exactly when needed and I love him for that.

Worth noting that when Skylar got hurt against Southern Illinois he walked on his own to the locker room, both he and McPherson were both carted off the sideline.

Wherever it was, he had a great game. Up there with his two wins over OU level good, and really passing this was his best game. Most his incompletions except that way over thrown potential TD to the TE in the endzone were drops or understandable decisions. He was focused and played lights out.
