Interesting. I barely watch Tv and have like 9 services so I really don't want another, but I guess I'll have to pony up to watch some of these. Going to a be a while before I head to a theatre.

Just got it today. Can't stream it through roku tho. Looks like we'll have to go through apple tv or amazon. Very interesting.

I have to play the HBO Max app on my iPhone or iPad, then use Apple Airplay to play from my Apple TV on my TV. I have also have a Vizio TV that has built-in apple air play. The latest Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio TV's have built in apple airplay.

my lg e9 has built in airplay 2 and it's pretty convenient. signed up for hbo max a few months ago at launch at $12 a month i think

xbox doesn’t support 4k with the hbo max app

Casting is even more annoying.

YouTube TV sent me a free Google TV thing, might try that out to see how it compares to the roku.

This does not yet apply to all roku models.

Didn't realize, mine worked in the beginning until a couple months ago. cancelled hbo max but then I read that roku 9.4 and above could do it and my TCL roku TV's have been working again.

I also have a roku premier stick in the basement but haven't tried it.

Troypoint.tv has workarounds for firesticks on some of those apps and perhaps roku too.

I cancelled but I do have a login and it rules. The Looney Toons and the TCM, the Warner Bros catalogue, the HBO catalogue, it is really an elite lineup.

LOL, yep. I was once working on a project for a new employee expense system and we accidentally emailed the entire company during our integration testing. This is like that, but millions of people instead of a couple thousand.
