Someone tell me Drake is actually pretty good.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

Well they weren't projected last in their conference.  Just 7th.

As usual, the team seems at its best when they just attack the rim on offense and worry too much about stopping drives on defense

either assess technical fouls on coaches that pull their mask down to yell or don't have them wear masks at all.

Guys, EZ is really bad at basketball, why did he play so much today? I like Murphy, Gordon, and bradford quite a bit down low. This guy sucks crap and played the most out of all of them though.

Agreed. He is the new Mak, but bigger and worse.

man, classic trap game right there folks. and what i mean by that is the ksu hoopscats were looking ahead to an opponent like colorado and maybe, well, let's say were not preparing themselves enough for this plucky drake squad out to beat the world.

He played with one eye the entire second half

oscar had a choice of playing any number of two eyed humans. And EZ missed most of the shots he shouldn't have taken in the first half.

And yet I actually think it helped his dunk attempts.. Very happy we'll have someone that will give Mak a run for career dunk- donks..
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Didn’t really watch the second half tbh.

Had to do stuff around the house. Saw we lost

from minute 35 through minute 38 we had a nice uptempo game where our pg or sg or whatever he plays scored every possession and so did their pg.  before that i didn't watch and after that it was some bullshit ft shooting and whatnot.

Supposedly McGuirl played well and Nigel Pack looked promising.

pretty fun game (to watch).

It was, I actually think this team will play faster, although it's tough to be slower than last years team was.

Good news is they are much better than that. The only reason they were picked 6th, not 7th, is because they lost their best player from last years team to Minnesota, he was a 7 foot center who averaged 15 & 8, but that will make them much more athletic. They'll definitely finish in the top 4 of the league.

Bad news, the only teams from multi bid leagues who lost to teams from traditionally one bid leagues were us and Pitt.

What a year for GOAT bballer from my high school and KU super fan Ryan Wedel. Both of his alum schools whipped our asses this year. Arkansas State in football and Drake in bball.

Also, woof.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Accurate. Nijel tho. I also thought Dajuan looked more assertive. Despite what the browns are saying Ezeagu, was good considering it was his first game, you take 9 & 5 and run with it. The power forwards are a real problem. Monte and Antonio played a combined 40 minutes and came up with a whole 4 points and 11 rebounds. They were even worse defensively. I was confused as to why oscar would only play 3 guards, drake is small. They spread us out and took advantage of the mismatches with those two guys on the floor. We defended 5 on 4 damn near the entire game. Linguard was out with, wait for it, a foot injury, specifically toe. When he comes back he's going to need to take significant minutes from those dudes, or were going to need to play 4 guards.
