That play by Tressel is the worst play I’ve ever seen by a DE. That’s not hyperbole. He took 3 side steps inside, then the QB ran for a touchdown right where he lined up. No one touched Tressel the whole play and he didn’t come with 4 feet of the QB.

Yes and no. This season could have played out very differently had Covid not entered the picture. If we get our OOC schedule like normal, we're already bowl eligible. Take away the freak hit that took Skylar out for the season, and we're at looking at a legitimate 8-4 regular season.

i'm getting more of a 4-8 vibe.

Losing Thompson was and is a big deal and a big part of the suckiness we see now, I need to let that temper my disgust at least a little.

But it's obvious Rubley needs to be the real deal.

I think he will, but ultimately we have nothing behind Thompson on the current roster. If Rubley isn't a stud, we have shitty times ahead.

Howard will be much better next season - a full backup year would do him some good.

The recruits they do land have lol'able offer lists. They are copying the snyder strategy of not chasing anyone that good schools want.
