With what he's shown, Rubley's options are likely a P5 with similar depth to ours or a G5.  I don't think he should leave until he knows Johnson is taking over for Howard.

After seeing Howard’s development, I’m definitely not ruling out Rubley being a stud backup for a couple years.

Really no incentive to portal out until after spring ball happens.  If the staff ends that period with someone in front of him as the clear #2 then I think you will see him go if he’s going to.

Right now he's the heir apparent to Howard, no need for him to think about it unless Avery (or Lara) is the #2 after spring

Plenty of time left.  I think we will have more drop after the bowl game.  I'm intrigued as to who will declare for draft vs stay for senior year.

The recruiting windows for transfers are so tight it really puts kids in a bad spot if they wait until after our bowl game, could be some though. Will certainly see some bail after the reality of the depth chart materializes after spring camp for sure.
