Joe Biden's "aggressive stance" on China is all window dressing.  He's shut down at least one major domestic Chinese counter-intelligence operation.  We have all of this mysterious land acquisition near sensitive U.S. military bases that as far as I've seen, no one with of any real import at the Federal level really seems to be looking into. (supposedly a Federal committee on foreign investment is looking into this).  Various geo-strategic economic moves have done nothing but bolster China.

Energy policy will get nothing but    in Beijing.  Now you've got states like Illinois and Michigan (with Federal support) giving huge incentives to Chinese (state owned) companies.

The list is endless.

Relative to Bill Kristol et. al.  Their mentors and related hold substantial seats in the Biden inner circle, both on the direct and indirect levels.

The ever expanding microchip embargo seems to be pretty big news if you listen to the Chinese. I don't like it and think it is misguided, but it definitely pissed them off and is moving markets (e.g. Nvidia) so lots of people think it is pretty meaningful.

As far as energy policy, I think we should all worry that China has basically lapped every American EV manufacturer except Tesla. The US is going to be spending a ton on industrial policy for the next 25 years it looks like to re-on board a Intel chip foundry to try to compete with TSMC and drag the big 3 toward EV/building out charging infrastructure/residential and commercial solar etc.

Domestication of chips is good, embargoes are bad.  It only drives China towards IP theft etc.

On the EV's . . . yeah and #blueanon states with the help of this administration or subsidizing them on U.S. soil now.

On the precipice of a large Middle Eastern war, our "leader" pulls out the note cards and goes on rambling nonsensical digressions while front and center.

Him calling Hamas the "other team" was a gem and his intermitting coughing showed strength.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

US intelligence officials say Zero Hedge, which has 1.2 million Twitter followers, published articles created by Moscow-controlled media that were then shared by outlets and people unaware of their nexus to Russian intelligence. The officials did not say whether they thought Zero Hedge knew of any links to spy agencies and did not allege direct links between the website and Russia.

Just a continuous stream of nothing burgers . . . these are the life and times of #stalkerbot.7

Meanwhile, the #clowncar who called Maduro a dictator is now presenting (while we have plenty of oil) because they're desperate for lower energy bills and have drained the SPR

The same #clowncar rolls out an old man to represent our country on the world stage, while at the same time rolling with a level of amazing bullshit in the UN

StalkerBot.7 response: A Gatling Gun level of nothing posts . . . same ol same ol, just sad  :frown:
