Tell me, dax, how are similarly situated defendants generally treated in this situation? You've got a guy with no priors pleading guilty to two misdemeanor tax violations (which he's already paid back, including penalties and interest) and admitting to a past drug problem and therefore pleading guilty to a felony for possessing a gun--a statute that is practically never enforced (talking about the drug addiction aspect). Lock him up?

He’s going to completely bypass the concept of the POTUS’s (a virtue signaling avowed anti gun administration) son walking into a courtroom to argue the unconstitutionality of Federal gun laws.

He’ll literally attempt to wrap this up in legal minutia and wholly avoid the idea that Merrick Garland et al wanted no part of seeing Hunter Biden’s team invoking recent SCOTUS rulings and using that as the backbone of their defense and attempt to get all gun charges dropped.
