:frown: there’s no bigger own then when SD is disappointed with me in life. I hate it.
Well, it’s about time you pull yourself up by your own bootstraps and be better.

If BG was anything but a celebrity, #blueanon wouldn’t even know any Americans were being held by the Russians.

Vlad went Yard, across the street and over the buildings next to the stadium.  A moon shot.

Oh, and don't bother with the strawman about Russia and arms. The U.S. is the largest overt and covert arms dealer in the world.

the venn D of people who didn't want to wear a mask in deep covid because they don't provide much protection to themselves and people that think this was a bad move because that guy was a really bad guy is a perfect circle. it's a blatant psychological tell.

I don't understand why the peace loving Putin would even want the merchant of death?

i know this was posted as a joke, but i really am curious as to why russia is interested in taking possession of this dude (and presumably then freeing him), and in all the commentary on this swap, i haven't seen anyone really try to explain it.

I really kind of doubt that this guy still will be able to operate in that realm.

How many other hostages does russia have besides grinder and wheelman?

Marc Fogel
Fogel, a history teacher from Pittsburgh who taught the children of U.S. diplomats abroad, was detained in Moscow in August 2021. He had with him a small amount of medical marijuana he used for chronic back pain.

In June, Fogel, 61, was sentenced to 14 years at a labor camp.

The federal government has not designated Fogel as wrongfully detained.

There's another chick who is not in prison but they won't let her leave for some reason, involved in a domestic dispute.

Dreamweaver, you're aware this wasn't even remotely similar to a sports trade, right?
I think if this happened under Trump, they’re wouldn’t be so many libs trying to mansplane the situation today. You’d be 100 threads deep already on how incompetent it was, but I digress.

For someone who is insistent on moving on from trump, you sure talk about him a lot.

We do have a trump comp for this but at that time you didn't take on your current troll persona yet, so I'm sure the tweets about it didn't register with you. He commuted the life sentence of and pardoned Alice Johnson who had non violent drug charges. The reaction from liberals were exactly the same for Alice as it has been for Britney, unconditional happiness for the women. Trump was begrudgingly praised by most liberals for releasing Alice Johnson. There were lots of conservatives, who expressed disappointment in trump for not only releasing Johnson but working with Kim Kardashian in doing so.

Libs not liking sports trade puns today was something I never had on my bingo card in 2022, for trading a mass murdering assistant for someone who doesn’t gaf about her country. You can’t make this stuff up, folks! DON’T Question IT! SHE’S BACK!

A black woman exercising her first amendment rights are is equating to not giving a eff about her country. Just a question but do the crackers, like you, constantly crying about America, including the president freeing American citizens unduly detained by authoritarians, count as people who doing give a eff about the country? If not why?

I know the questions are super complicated, apologies for that.

lol indeed at listening to the people with the highest stakes, the most knowledge, and least likely to use the case for political points.

We'd all be smarter by listening to and borrowing talking points from Matt Walsh, catturd, Milo, and Nick Adams.

You clearly missed Joe teaming up with Hillary "Bring them to heel" Clinton to champion the most racist and draconian sentencing legislation in U.S. history, and the ongoing sniffer/shower act of the president.  Coupled with the ongoing weird old man outbursts everytime someone attempts to ask him a difficult question . . . which ain't often these days because they cutoff the mic

Watching dax ignore his knowledge that the Russian authorities trumped up her charges to hold her as political capital isn't at all fascinating. Dax picking a bigoted, anti-american, war crime committing authoritarian over an African American black woman, is the least surprising thing ever.

To give a recap of Russian drug laws, for those of you who don't know, dax does. In Russia carrying under 7 grams of cannabis is considered their version of a misdemeanor. She had less than 1 gram. Because she was traveling, they charged her with trafficking. She was supposedly trafficking 0.7 grams of cannabis.

Marc Fogel had 20 grams of marijuana, as previously stated 7 or more grams of marijuana in Russia is a criminal offense punishable up to 15 years in prison.
