One adjustment I liked is that in the second half instead of going three and out and punting and sucking on offense we started scoring TDs.

IMO That was the key to winning the game
You know I had not thought of it exactly like that but I think you are right!

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Why does Lincoln Riley not adjust to our adjustments?

I liked when we figured out that the QB always flushed right and always tried to throw to the comeback

You turdburgers with your jokes are glossing over this fact: Courtney Messingham made more (good) adjustments in this game than, perhaps, he made all of last year. No pointless running plays up the gut, shifting to emphasising the passing game, getting the ball to our dymanic players (we don't have many) in space in the second half, etc. I still think The Mess is in over his head, but, for this game (minus that atrocious first half), he figured stuff out.

Now, if only he can make these types of adustments to anticipate the pre-game adjustments of the other team...

Iowa surely will be interested. But, they are so, you know, Ioway.

Iowa is his home...  ans he's already beaten #13 Iowa with NDSU in 2016 and the AD at Iowa is ALSO a NDSU guy.  so he'd go there if Not a SEC gig

Of course, The Mess also got his ass beat at Iowa State with attrocious offenses in 2012 and 2013, so, there's that...

I believe they figured out Rattler's "tell" on his progression when it came to passing plays.  Because in the 4th quarter, Rattler was rattled, and played like a 1 star recruit.

For anyone with copious amount of time on your hands, Rattler was one of the QBs profiled in last year's "QB1" series on Netfilix. You give a lot of leeway to high school kids, but he was a wee bit more "precocious" than most of the other QBs in the series. And, he was suspended for his senior year partway through the season for "undisclosed reasons" that were never "disclosed"

Why does Lincoln Riley not adjust to our adjustments?

I think in-game adjustments must be really difficult for LR.  It really worked in our favor to be not so good in the first half and then spring some adjustments on Lincoln in the second half.
