I've got a buddy down in Alabama and he claims this is Saban's last year. If they can't land dabo then expect them to make a hard run at Klieman.

Mess adjusted well as well. Posted the following in the game thread and I think he basically did this.

Posted this on a message board at half...

“Cats have crappy/young OL, a current dearth of good RBs, a bunch of WRs that are pretty quick, but not super great at catching, two pretty good pass catching TEs, and...

A QB whose pocket presence is better, but still not great, and a so-so at best deep ball and generally has a pretty weak arm tbh.

All signs point to swinging it around and getting quick quys the ball in space, allowing TEs to use their frames on easily catchable balls, and QB sacrificing his body as a runner, all of which can help open up all the stuff Mess really wants to do.“
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Honestly, the biggest factor is that Oklahoma has played no football and both of their lines gassed out.

I've always said that the coach who makes the worst adjustment will lose most of the time.  Which is very similar to what you've always said.

It's the Iowa State Syndrome.  Just bad adjustments, that's why they lose.

Is not making an adjustment the same as making a bad adjustment?

It depends on if the other team adjusted.

One adjustment I liked is that in the second half instead of going three and out and punting and sucking on offense we started scoring TDs.

One interesting adjustment we made was instead of letting the Predator only throw passes that were caught by his team or by our team, we started letting some hit the ground. Was a bit of a risk, but worked out.

IMO That was the key to winning the game

Last adjustment shout out. The little kicker guy adjusted his power and accuracy on his kick to make the FG instead of missing it like in the first game, and that made the difference for us.
