my previous house had gas, my current home is electric and it's way better.  that's all I really have to add to this.   :Wha:

Am I the only person here who has actually been in a gas leak? eff gas stoves. The rush of seeing a flame when I cook indoors isn't worth the risk of my wife and kids blowing the eff up in my house.

talk about a rush!

much easier to fine tune the heat with a gas range but electric seems much safer, esp with young cooks in the house.

Lots of folks say induction is better than gas. But I've only used shitty electric ones and they are obviously way worse

Induction is the most precise and even in terms of heat.

The cool thing about gas is you can fire roast peppers and stuff right on top. But you’re not supposed to and I don’t really do it ever. If I just got to pick one I’d probably do induction but I think they’re all fine.

Dumb fucks who don't trust/like gas stoves shouldn't eat at restaurants.  The great majority use gas cooking stations; and if you don't know why just as a chef.  It heats evenly and quickly, and heat temperature is easy to control which results in tasty food that keeps existing customers and brings in new customers.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.
