I was questioning it, I made a giant batch of homemade chicken stock and soy eggs for some ramen.

Then got that feeling.

So I heated up the chili, dumped cayenne on and nothing

I had rough ridin' Takis and remember thinking "huh I thought the real Takis were spicier than the Trader Joe's one" and then had a cheeseburger that I thought didn't have cheese on it and then had a cocktail that my wife said smelled amazing and I was like "it doesn't smell at all ohhhhhhhhhh crap". this all happened the same day after I'd been sick for a few days.

I thought I was losing my taste. Turned out it was the menthol or whatever in the NyQuil/DayQuil numbing my taste buds.

Thankfully, I never lost taste or smell.

14 month old tested positive with an in home test last night. ms ww and I were negative. Went into the dr for more official tests this morning so we will see.

mrs mocat had covid a few months ago and lost her taste/smell, so a coworker (who had also previously had it) brought her two xxxtra spicy ramens, and told her to eat one now and eat one after taste came back. mrs mocat's mind exploded the 2nd time

2nd test was positive too. So far he's been doing fine, not any worse than a couple other bugs he's had this winter. If ms ww and I don't get it, this vaccine rules so much.
