I got invited to a huge wedding scheduled for mid december and I just politely declined, but wtf?

It's commonplace in the hospitality industry right now for weddings to not give a crap.

I have friends who just went to an indoor wedding but I think the reception was outside? It was their niece and local so was really hard for them to decline. (I also don't know why you wouldn't just have the wedding outside too but whatevs)

Just heard a crazy story of a three household spread after a weekend of events together and how blood type is maybe playing a role in who has it / symptoms.  All the "A" blood types have it with moderate and above symptoms (not sure they all have a positive test) and all the "O" blood types have tested negative and/or don't have any symptoms.

That is interesting, but surely there is better data out there for this sort of thing than your acquaintances’ anecdotes? Would be a good thing to know.

I mean of course, I thought we all knew this was a possible variable based on those studies.  It's crazy how this story is playing out to match those studies.

A+ blood type here. Developed mild nasal congestion, very slight fatigue and runny nose yesterday. Tested positive on the PCR. At home until 11/20. My work has this fancy UV decontamination machine that they used to disinfect my office. At home playing Battleship and ping pong with the kids today.

Very interesting. There was a paper about this association in a medical journal a few months ago but I had totally forgotten about it since it is a non modifiable risk factor. Might be good to no in order to prioritize patients for the Regeneron drug.

You are required to put your blood type on your resume and people regularly ask each others blood type on first meeting.
