I'm in Mexico, supposed to leave tomorrow. Got two positive tests and am now quarantining in the room

My mom and her husband had planned three weeks at an airbnb after the resort. It has a few extra bedrooms so looks like I'll probably go with them until I can get back in the US. From what I can find you need a negative test or a doctor's note saying you are recovered after 5 days.

It gets better. My symptoms were worst on day 1, noticeable on day 2, pretty much gone on day 3, although I still have some lingering fatigue and an occasional cough. YMMV.

Depending on how desperate you are to come back I’ve heard from multiple people you can purchase a negative test

The resort I went to in October did the same. The places are empty, trying anything to get people down there

One I went to was some outsourced medical facility.  I'm fairly certain a $20 over your nose holes when they took you back would have gotten you a negative.

Oh and I joined the club yesterday.  Felt weird last week (no typical advertised symptoms) but thought it was just post vegas withdrawals.  Roommate started feeling bad this week.  Both took at home test, I was negative.  Decided to get a PCR anyways, popped a positive.  Still zero symptoms.  Figure I'll test again Wednesday, if negative I'm in the clear given those symptoms last week.

One of my buddies is a professional poker player and has some free hotel rooms and other various perks from Atlantis in the Bahamas. We were planning on going in February but have delayed the trip because of all the covid requirements, we dont really want to get stuck there for an extra 5-10 days.

Hopefully late march or early April will be better.

If I don't test positive, I'll be shocked. I feel exactly as I did July 2020 when I had OG 'rona.

I'm triple chipped, and, oddly, day 3 symptoms are worse than days 1&2.

Results in 48-72 business hours. So, I'll probably get results next Monday.
