Iowa is opening up vaccinations to ever-y-body starting April 5th. Best way to keep the variants out. We only have roughly 3 dozen reported cases of the UK variant.

The Nebraska Kroger Brand Lex Luther is keeping them out of the hands of people begging to get it.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

i can tell you where to go if you want to come to fresno. they're supposedly checking job credentials or something but i heard them talking to like two patients about alternate ways of qualifying while i was sitting there. i think they're shooting up anyone.

Quote from: sys on February 21, 2021, 08:12:16 PMone dose is less effective than two doses, so if you administer a single dose to lots of people, it produces an environment that makes it easier for variant viruses to evade the immune response and thus respond to selection.the magnitude of the difference may be insignificant or it may be large, but there's no question that it makes it easier rather than harder. This would only math out if the 2nd shot came close to doubling effectiveness. Right now data showing 85%+ effectiveness for one shot versus 95% with two. No brainer. Give out one shot now and booster in the summer. We can double the coverage and only lose ~10% effectiveness.
