I don't have numbers for "decimation", but I think you can say what happened anecdotally in places like the nursing home in Kirkland or the Tyson pork plant in Waterloo, IA is "decimation" and assume that we're comfortable as a society with that happening in similar communities across the country.

There won't be an economy left if we stay on full lockdown.  You mention nursing homes, the vast majority of senior living facilities have been locked down for months and will remain that way for the foreseeable future.

Unlike you, clearly, I'm open to looking at any claim that a vaccine is doing harm to children.   

You should also remember, that your political movement selectively hates Big Pharma with the power of a thousand suns, only choosing to back off that hate when it's politically expedient to do so.   The Gates Foundation has major ties to Big Pharma.   India did cut direct funding to the Gates Foundation and that was one of the reasons as to why, the Gates Foundation ties to major pharmaceutical manufacturers and you, being a hardcore lib should understand what kind of political power large pharmaceutical companies have . . . and according to your movement, that's bad, until you decide at various times, that's good.

I've looked at a number of plans by multiple states about re-opening and I'll be damned if I can find one that simply states that everyone should go do whatever they want and it's straight back to business as usual. 

As far as I can tell, for things like nursing homes and assisted living they're still on lock down, and at risk people are still be implored to stay at home.   At most restaurants etc can be at half capacity and some only at one third capacity.   Still no sporting events, concerts or theater events, and gatherings of more than 10 people without social distancing are at minimum frowned upon.

One school of thought is that the despair of isolation and depression over loss of career and jobs may end up killing more people than the virus itself.    Prolonged shut down will only do irreversible harm to the economy that will have a lasting impact that supersedes the impact of the virus itself many times over.
