I'm not sure Trump could comprehend 10% of what Gates said. Pretty sad he can't just step back and let capable people coordinate things at the federal level.

Chum did Bill Gates, acclaimed  epidemiologist, virologist, vector control expert, disaster response expert etc etc. Name who should be in charge of all of this?

So the conclusion is Fauci, Brix, the CDC, NIH and FEMA are not capable people or not run by capable people?

Interesting.  So who does Bill suggest should be running this?

Nobody on this blog was mad any drug maybe working and Dax comes in here and dicks up the whole conversation for 5 pages based on that and "Fauci said ...there is nothing to worry about..."

True hero.

I’ve watched 12:30 of the interview and so far Bill has not said anything that should be considered profound or new.  Literally everything he’s said has been discussed repeatedly by numerous sources.  In addition his referencing of China in near reverential terms is in a word, scary.

really good interview with gates.  i find listening to him very clarifying both on details and for a broader overview.

incidentally, some of the things he mentions, but doesn't really dwell on, are just an insane abdication of responsibility on the part of the federal government.  the idea the federal government refuses to coordinate testing and that non-profits and private enterprises are going to have to come up with some way to coordinate and prioritize test access without government participation is just mind-blowing.

I was kinda surprised at how low he thought the asymptomatic spread was. And did @trim take the Gates test???

Here’s who was involved in the one I did.

I’ve been COVID-19 tested and I just want to thank the a federal government for not being involved.

Here in first world Alabama I was tested within 45 minutes of being advised to be tested and had results in less than 24 hours. Didn’t cost a penny.

Albeit my results were shared with ADPH and subsequently the CDC.

Is it bad when a pandemic doesn't unify the country in a common call to action but instead is fertile grounds for polarization?

You can start with the 24/7/365 FearPorn media outlets.

Let's have a moment of silence on this beautiful Good Friday morning to offer up a prayer or two for the ruthless attack of Messiah Gates by the terrorist group of Al-Pieda.
