In Vegas right now and at midnight last night the state went back to full mask mandate for vaccinated and unvaccinated people. Casino workers walked around handing masks out prior to midnight and are making a legit effort to ensure everyone complies.

The private sector needs to bring us home. Whatever Shake Shack is doing needs to be across the board. We need big box stores to require. Walmart and Target. With grocery delivery now they could easily do that.

Agreed, not that it matters given our broken system basically means you either are insured through work or not insured at all.

Is this a trend with companies rn (say they are mandating vaccines but do so in a way that is acceptable internally to some group of the employees and broadcast it)?

It’s a lot easier to mandate to non-union and salaried employees. The unions should get on board, which would be incred but probably not happen.

I knew the insurance shoe was dropping. No way those robot actuaries let non vaxxers chew up profits on a ventilator even though the boomers being put down will save them in the long run. I feel like my capitalism predictions are all coming.

I assume you knew this, but I was talking vs. insurance bought on the exchanges set up with Obamacare, which is what the tweet was referencing.
