Airlines tell us how clean / safe plane air is, everybody (?) is wearing masks in airports and on the plane, not too worried about travel going up.  Guess the concerning part is what those travelers do outside of the flight experience.

yeah I flew out of DFW the day the governor ended the mask mandate and everyone was wearing a mask. there were a few goobers who didn't cover their noses but I only saw them from a distance. SFO's AA termy was still creepy empty. Both flights I had the entire row to myself

Pointing at increased air travel as evidence of people letting their guards down at this point is like pointing to a puddle as evidence it’s raining. The data point really isn’t necessary.

I feel like this is more than light at the end of the tunnel, it feels like an actual dawn. I did not feel like that last summer. Knew it was only a temporary reprieve from the disaster that was waiting in the fall and winter.
