And it's especially important for the right wing loons to make a show of it. (As well as other high profile politicians who may serve a skeptical community like AOC.)

I'm not sure that politicians should be getting the vaccine before transplant doctors, politicians can work from home, at least highly distanced.

I don't think people questioning the covid vaccine are traditional anti-vaxxers. On the right, for instance, I think there's going to be a bunch of the anti-mask folks who are vaccinated for other things but could be influenced by Pence and Lindsey graham getting vaxxed. Just spitballing

it obviously makes me mad when anti mask or open it up politicians are getting to the front of the line. but, getting the dumbshits who are going to spread it the most vaccinated first no matter their ignorance is probably going to help everyone out. people who are doing what they are supposed to and staying home are hopefully not going to go out and spread it to their neighborhood nursing home. "fairness" is usually not the best route to go I bet.

gottlieb says so far they believe mutations are in the science part of the thing that doesn't matter to the vaccine. this has been the gottlieb cliff notes update for people like steve dave who appreciate but don't 100% understand how this crap works for 12/21/20.

I can't see myself going to the grocery store without a mask for a long ass time. even if vaccinated I'd imagine it provides a feeling of safety to others until this thing is 100% whipped. I don't mind wearing them though.

The act of wearing them isn't anything. I wonder the same in the regards of symbolism of kicking this things ass. Once we don't require masks or more experts say we can relax a bit on them is the visual indicator we best it.

I'm having a mask burning party hopefully this summer but its symbolic, definitely have enough to keep to use for this purpose. I've severely overbought reusable masks and have some people hand me ones they made.
