So this team every game reminds me more and more of the 2016-2017 year. I have had nightmares about the play in fate for this team but honestly feel like that is what oscar is shooting for.
We have a lot of injured bigs which was a problem with the 2016 squad. However we had an NBA caliber forward on that roster.
This team needs Sneed more than ever and Montavious Murphy healthy.

In order to stay afloat this team is gonna have to have at least 3 ranked wins.

In 2016
We beat
Ranked Baylor twice (at Baylor, Big 12 Tournament Quarterfinals)
Ranked West Virginia at OOD

Close Losses
At No. 3 KU 88-90 (Svi walked)
No.3 KU at OOD 71-74
At Texas Tech 65-66
West Virginia 50-51 (Big 12 Tournament Semifinals)

Conference Record
8-10

Overall Record
21-14

It's crazy to think this is what got us a play in- berth my freshman year but if 2019-2020 doesn't get their crap together once conference play starts we will not be in the NCAA Tournament come march.
