the army guy with the huge freaking gun and the helicopter are easily my favorite part. the whole thing really looks like something that a ku fan would photoshop together to just make fun of kstate.

OT: is airforce going to be our new big rival when we join the mwc?

I can't wait until our fanbase makes national headlines because they booed Air Force as the players took the field.

I think Harley day is confusing to most.  It's like KSU is trying to tell the world: "We aren't just a bunch of rednecks.  We have white trash fans too".

Given our history with the power towel video, there's no reason that wouldn't be believed.

What do you think Bill was saying here?  I mean we couldn't even get a decent shot of him in his yellow tie?  Wtf?
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

a Fort Riley soldier had his arm blown off by the cannon tonight during the postgame celebration at the Junction City Generals game. So sad.

 :surprised:

KSTATEO's poster is going to appear to be in really poor taste.

I'd have to see what they did with the paint splatters and the rest before I made a decision

Good report.  The billboard sounds pretty barren (assuming all the Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) stuff is gone)

it also has something like "season tickets on sale now" to take the place of the redneck stuff

Cook says the theme of this year's K-State football schedule poster is to focus on the whole atmosphere of a K-State game day.

"Coach (Bill) Snyder likes to feature the team and family, so we have a collage showing the stadium, the fans, fireworks in the background, an image of Ft. Riley Day and Harley Day, Coach Snyder, Willie, and then a couple players," said Cook. "Then during the course of the year we can take elements of the poster and use them on tickets, or a glass, or the inside of the media guide. We try to keep a constant theme throughout the year."

This fall, Cook said that each of the six Wildcat captains will be featured on the programs for the six home games, which he is also responsible for.

Good to know - I assumed from the poster that Ft. Riley was staging an attack on BSFS.  Glad they're trying to sell some more seats so my chances of survival increase somewhat.
