Kinda a trade off for playing the pace that we do, it emphasizes running really good offensive sets and we don't do that. There was a really good article in the athletic that had video of our pathetic offense in the first half, a lot of guard to guard passing with no effort made on away from the ball movement.

I haven't really watched much but it seems like we should consider running offense at a different pace.
i only saw the end of UNLV live and watched the highlights on YouTube but it looked liked we did press some in the 2nd half.  We have (for the oscar era) lots of long and athletic guys so I would love to see at least as a change up.

Stats say we aren't very good at anything sadly.

What stats are you looking at?

oscar indicated before the season started that we would, but here we are, one of the most deliberate teams in America. We even walk it up when we play small, even with two PGs on the floor, together.

Interesting, because it looks like we're still badasses at Defense, hemmy. You ever heard of that?

Pretty sure every college coach in history has said they'll play fast and don't. I think it's usually just when they're hired though

Given all of the minutes we lost at the guard position, I kinda thought Williams would have had a bigger impact this year than he's actually had.

SNW and Oscar were clearly on the outs. Oscar doesn't even try with behavioral problems anymore. We've recruited over Williams for the future so his departure won't hurt like his refusal to work with Bullnuts has.

I don't expect Sneed to hit like that every game, but it would be nice if he shows up for challenging teams and not disappear like he did against Pitt and Marquette.
