The chainlink fence around the front row  :frown:

Yea that's really sad to look at.  Very thankful for our limestone.

Fave part of the game was when J-Mac picked off Stanley then spun the ball like he was in an old NFL films vid and all the cats LOLd at the KU sideline. Then the color guy laughs and says "that's a flag lol." Then petros is like "he spun that ball like it was a pair of dice," and everyone (cat fans and the announcers) had a good laugh because it was clear at that point KU had absolutely no chance and all was right in the world.

Also love that petros is Hubert's No. 1 fan.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Petros is, and has always been great. Loved him talking about being able to buy a turnover sledgehammer in any college town if we forgot it

Read a couple of game threads on kusports.com.  A rare occasion where KU fans don't blame their woes on poor officiating.  They recognized that their best offense was KSU defensive penalties...

Hate to do this to our TSC little bro in Lawrence but the accounts from those in attendance yesterday are a bit sad and clearly indicative of how little eff's KU actually gives about football.

Totally unprepared for the crowd, still an absolute shithole of a football stadium, they literally sold tickets to invited recruits seats and so invited recruits/players/coaches visiting had to get up and move seats.

The "clubs" at both ends of the stadium are comical.

The "express" gate still took us more than 20 minutes to get in and I may have been behind like 100 people.

The restroom lines were probably 100 dudes long, and they still have troughs. What year is it?

Beer stands ran out through the whole game, and only had mini wini bottles left.

Some old broad behind me kept yelling "not so classy, cats" on the taunting penalty on Trotter.

Younger guy ku fan and his cat girlfriend started a kerfuffle when dude kept talking to the attractive ku girl on his other side. Same guy kept yelling how much Skyler sucked. His cat girlfriend cheered with us for a bit. Dude was having rough time, and it sure looked like a rough relationship.

So many fans left with the entire 4th quarter to go. Some nice fans said good luck on the rest of the season as we left.

Jeff Long spent more time prepping for the midfield trophy ceremony than the biggest crowd in a decade.  Can’t make that crap up.

The story of him calling Gene and asking logistical questions about the trophy just goes to show how much they all believed the game was in the bag and they could start celebrating early. It's almost sad.
