Nothing like the president very openly threatening a member of Congress.  This totalitarian state is exactly what gets Dax up in the morning.

Dax, do you think the Senate should have John Bolton testify?

Imagine thinking your party was cruising to an easy impeachment trial win and then having to figure out how to deal with this story that is basically the same as the like 14 others who testified under oath.

Not sure how the GOP will be able to circle the wagons here.

I don't doubt their resolve to do it at all. But, man, the cost of making the trial look like a cover-up just keeps getting higher and higher. And they have to be wary about the likelihood of additional damning info coming out in the future.

But it's hilarious that they were like, "sure, we'll just rush through the trial because Trump's got the cover-up completely under control. We'll be golden because HE'S GOT THIS!"

You'd think republicans in congress would be weary of believing anything trump tells them by now, but somehow they're still shocked that he would lie to them as well. The white house has had that draft for almost a month while feeding talking points that they knew would likely be discredited in a few days.

John Bolton knows the game.   Anything substantial that's Anti-Trump immediately makes you a LibDork Nation hero.

He'll use the John McCain method.   McCain went from a war loving bomb everybody guy hated by the majority of LibDork Nation to instant LibDork Nation icon and beloved hero based on one vote.

Bolton knows that if mega corrupt war monger Joe Biden gets elected, that he'll likely find a new voice via proxies somewhere within the massive NSC infrastructure that war monger Joe Biden will rebuild.  His old boss, mega war monger Barrack Obama had nearly 800 on his NSC staff (many of whom are holdovers who are really pissed off the U.S. is out of the regime change business, and want somebody like Obama back so they can begin regime changing and refugee'ing again).

Imagine being so desperate to get back into the White House that you'll (once again) make a guy your movement absolutely despises a hero based on some accusations.
