There is nothing local that is good. There is a chain called The Garage that is p. good if you've never had it. Close to the stade too.

Don’t listen to the too-cool-for-schoolers. Go to Eskimo Joe’s because it’s a thing. It’s not award winning food but the atmosphere is fun. It’s right down the street.

If you see a guy in a Dylan Meier jersey, say hi.

Stillwater is v bad, go to "the strip" if you need friday night entertainment so that you can realize how lucky you were to have aggievillle

there's other places that are probably fun on gameday but i can't stress this enough, Stillwater sucks

Yes. I would post up there and not move until you leave for the game. I'd probably be there Friday night too.

Sure, if you're a weirdo cup collector, go to Eskimo Bros.

if you've never been then yeah you should go. like everyone said, it's not amazing or anything but it's pretty decent and it's a thing. hideaway pizza is really good and a few blocks away and an Oklahoma thing with a pretty cool history. stadium is only a few blocks away. I would put Stillwater above ames in terms of pre and post game hangout spots, but not much.

Stillwater is ass and there is an Eskimo Joes in every college town in America. Just go to Braum's and stream the game on ESPN+

In college, we drove south the night before the game and after the game to stay in OKC.

 Totally get it. Have fun. It's not that bad. College bars are college bars and you can make the most of it. I actually really like their brick campus.

thank you Dr Rick

sure and the first part of what I wrote was in regards to joes.  It's size and close location to the stadium puts it apart from similarish places in other college towns. I don't agree with MIR that every college town has a joes.

Okie St fans will tell you Stillwater is amazing and great game day. After Aggieville/MHK you will be severely disappointed if you let them hype you up about it. Nowhere near the worst I’ve been to, but nothing great either. Ok tailgating, ok atmosphere, ok partying. I’ve never had a bad time there, but the meh factor is through the roof
