Eric Gallon knee injury
« on: October 26, 2019, 11:27:07 PM »
So I didn't see the injury, but ESPN tells me it was too graphic to replay.  Did his leg go backwards or something?

Anyway, condolences out to him, I hope it's not one of those injuries that will haunt him for the rest of his life.  Knee injuries are the worst, and I can't imagine the amount of pain he was in.

Going forward, how does this affect KSU defense?  I think our LB core is somewhat solid, but it's always nice to have depth.

Again, I wish Gallon a speedy recovery and hope he's on his feet soon.

Saw a video of it on reddit, went sideways at the knee. Looked pretty bad.

He's a fifth year senior. Even if he had a relatively "minor" knee injury, like a meniscus tear, he likely wouldn't have time to recover from surgery. I've seen MCL tear on KSO, that would finish his season.

game replay is on ESPNU right now. They just showed the play and it was awful.
