yes randy absolutely strapping his pig leg to young men's butt while passing legislation which would literally jail his own gross face did quite a favor to the twitter files.

That’s what ol’ Randy refers to as “5D chess.” (The fifth D is his D.)

Agreed, #blueanon political leadership was completely embarrassing yesterday.

Raged up censorship advocacy is a really bad look

We just finished a day when #blueanongE thought that a Lt. Gov making comments on or liking a Tweet involving gay person(s) was a social media platform issue.

1000% onbrand for #blueanongE

Congressional Dems and their parrots have been in full meltdown about Taibbi and company going on for multiple days.

Taibbi et. al. made it very clear early on that Trump, Trump minions and other conservatives also tried to influence Twitter and also tried to censor and silence.  But their efforts generally paled in comparison to #blueanon political and thought leader efforts to censor, shadow ban, ban, and Twitter's staff obviously had a clear and decisive political lean.  Not to mention the hilarious #blueanon political leaders insistence that institutions from our military-intelligence-federal domestic law enforcement complex have every right to insert themselves into social media to surveil Americans via that information conduit and influence social media operations.

#blueanon:  The Fascists they've been warning us about

It's going well . . .

Overall, we expect to reduce our team size by around 10,000 people and to close around 5,000 additional open roles that we haven’t yet hired.

It would be nice to see that conservative echo chamber go away, but I think they probably are adjusting from over-hiring during covid.

StalkerBot.7 rolls in with the usual weird post

Any platform that talks about things we don't like and has people who are not in full lockstep with our dogma is a Conservative Echo Chamber, which of course is part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy . . . Sandstone

Imagine supporting an administration so enraged yet so flaccid.

Goodness, just sad

on the one hand, i think musk is mostly winning his bet that he can keep the lights on with a much smaller staff.  twitter seems more buggy that before, but mostly functional.

otoh, he's losing his ass on the revenue side.

The functionality part is ongoing. Less maintenance should lead to continually poorer performance over time. I'm pretty curious to see how things progress.

I don’t buy that twitters advertising revenue is down 90%

Just from the former top 10 (I think). Who knows how much of a percentage of total revenue that was or how much the top 10 changes in normal times. I imagine a lot of their advertising is very seasonal.

Twitter reported 4.5 billion in ad revenue in FY 2021.  So we are supposed to believe that only 73M comes from the top 10 customers?

Oh that is not an annual figure, probably closer to 800M annual.  Still only 20% or so of the total picture.

The 73 million is over 2 months, not a year. I think ~400 million+ over a full year from the top 10 sounds reasonable
