I suspect there is a large age gap between those who are troubled by developments with twitter and those who are not. Hardly anyone I know over 50 cares about the day to day functions of twitter. In contrast, when I read younger-leaning news sources etc they make it seem like a sacred trust has been violated.

Yeah but fragile egos like elon and trump can't even let anything go. Dude has literally barred people from buying teslas, any bad press on tesla he used to like, go for the throat on it, he can never, ever, ever let anything go, so it's no surprising he acts this way even if we doesn't need to
