Also worth noting that tunnels don't limit emissions, the tunnels don't eat the discharge.

He’s referring to cars sitting in traffic

My experience in cities that have extensive tunnels systems, NYC & Boston, you're just sitting in traffic in the tunnels.

They aren't road tunnels. Basically drive your car onto a sled that moves via electromagnetism. It's supposed to be an automated system

There's a road tunnel that gets you through/past downtown Seattle, but it's tolled and it seems like they've got it at about the right amount that it doesn't get congested.  That said, I'm never driving at rush hour times so maybe it gets jammed up then too.

And there's def underwater tunnels, but I don't like to think about that as I'm nonchalantly driving through them.  What a way to die.  :Yuck:

I thought this was the original concept but they scrapped it when they figured it was too hard.

Also, the coral bedrock that FL sits on is crazy hard. It would chew up those boring drills so quick.

1. you can have tunnels underwater. there are crap loads everywhere.

So rough ridin' expensive though. Knowing how expensive and time consuming Boston's Big Dig was I can't even fathom how much and how long his project would cost the city of Miami.

Didn't realize Elon was doing well again. For some reason i thought he wasn't in good financial shape recently with Tesla having issues. Maybe i'm way off.

Well he has been married and divorced from the same woman twice so it’s probably not unreasonable to think he might be financially drained.

I meant financially. He's obviously off his rocker.
Their previous years must have been what I was remembering when they were having delays in production.

The numbers suggest that Tesla has overcome the problems that plagued it in the first half of last year, when it lost more than $1 billion and scrambled to raise capital.

Tesla, which has never had a profitable year, ended 2019 with a loss of $862 million, less than its two previous annual losses.

xpost w/ shows/movies threads: Fake Famous, an HBO Documentaries film, is really good. It's of the ilk of The Social Dilemma, minus the weird and unnecessary dramatic reenactments. The thesis of the film is that you can take three random people and make them fake (internet) famous merely by sleight-of-hand tricks.
