I doubt those guys went through too much emotional trauma bc I don't think any of them actually believed they were going to die. I feel this way because the ultra wealthy tend to be narcissistic ego maniacs who are too important to die, and also they believe there would be every possible resource tirelessly dedicated to saving them round the clock. So they were probably just sitting around kind of annoyed at why the rescue was taking so long and smelling each other's farts.

I think it was probably hull failure. If you read about what went into james Cameron's challenger deep submersible, and then read about this Kroger brand ass length of titanium pipe, it's a pretty remarkable contrast

i think i'd probably take the other side of that bet. zuckerberg is obviously in much better shape and apparently fights as a hobby, but musk probably has like 70-80 lbs on him or so? that makes up for a lot.
