What do you know, Brad Pitt is amazing in yet another movie.

World War Z was great. Lots of good action.  Brad Pitt's adventure to find the origin of the disease was fun.

I believe they are making another one.  Can't wait.
It's exactly what you think it would be. Didn't exceed expectations, met them though.

Wish they didn't make Brad cat like with his nine lives, hate fake aspects like that in movies. Especially surviving the plane crash wtf? Enjoyable flick nonetheless

Watched a couple on RedBox yesterday while fighting off my Saturday choices.

MAMA- Dumb.  Not a horror"ish" fan in the first place so the super weird ending just topped it off as horrible.

Broken City- Had no clue what to expect going in and was just hoping for something good enough to keep me awake.  Not too shabby, would recommend for your $1 spend.

I watched World War Z over the weekend.  I read the book (one of those peeps) and the movie was nothing like it.  Still though, decent movie.  It wasn't great but it was good.  I give it a solid B-.  Without Pitt the movie blows.  In the movie, Brad Pitt's character (Gerry) is clearly an immortal from the Highlander series.  You cannot die unless you take his head and with it his power.

Conclusion: There can be only Pitt.

I watched Martyrs today. It's a French horror movie from 2008. It is the most psychologically disturbing movie I have ever seen in my life.

I watched the Burt Wonderstone movie with Carell and Carrey.  It was one of the worst movies I've seen in years, possibly ever.  I stopped watching it half way through.

Once I saw the Rotten Tomatoes rating was so low, I knew this had to be the case.  It's a shame, because it seems like that concept should have been a gold mine of hilarity.

Mr. Bread, thank you for sacrificing so that others do not have to do the same.  Godspeed.

Yes.  The degree to which it was terrible was really something.  Like I can't believe they kept filming.

 :surprised:

I wouldn't like it nearly as much as I do if not for Michael Shannon's amazing performance

lol, I didn't. And ERII, I agree with Shannon's performance and I also loved the directing. Story just didn't do anything for me.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but watched To The Wonder with Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams recently. Only decided on it because it was mostly filmed in and around the birthplace of Shooter Jones himself, Bartlesville, OK. Just a fuckin terrible movie, do....not.....watch, your head will hurt halfway through.
