Drive - disappointing, even though i fracking love Bronson, and to a lesser extent Valhalla Rising

Harry Brown - v. violent, liked it a lot though. I could watch Michael Caine do anything though so take it fwiw

Sleepless in Seattle - 2nd time watching it, my god what a classic. "Have you ever seen Fatal Attraction?" "No you wouldn't let me" "Well I saw it and it SCARED THE crap OUT OF ME!"

Watchmen director's cut - is there a cooler intro to a movie than "Unforgettable" followed by "The times they are a-changing" ? Answer: absolutely not.

5 Year Engagement was very, very meh. Laughed a few times, but not worth all the meh I had to sit through.

I can't help it. I think it was way overhyped for me so I was doomed from the get-go. It did feature amazeballz music the entire time though.

is the new bond movie something that i'd like to see?

background:  i'm not a bond fanboy, but i do enjoy action movies.  would prefer a movie that is 75% action and 25% dialouge and story.

pretty heavy on the dialouge and story. 2 chase scenes, and around 4 fight/battle scenes, IIRC. would probably say around 6 explosions? lot of deaths though. a guy gets eaten by a lizard.

I thought Skyfall was fantastic.  Definitely the best Daniel Craig Bond movie, imo

Apparently Roger Moore has been quoted as saying it is the best bond film of all time.

I would say it was almost as good as casino royal. Had a bit of a dark knight twist to it, if you get what I mean.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Watched Flight after the TCU game. It's all about alcoholism. Was decent. I might have enjoyed it more had I not been wasted drunk.

Killer Elite

Statham, De Niro, Clive Owen and lots of sweet action.  Very fun.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Saw The Watch.  LOLed a number of times during the first 30-40 minutes.  It was a lot better than I thought it would be, but I thought it was going to be basically unwatchable. :dunno:

How many times can you watch Royal Tenenbaums and have your movie watching experience improve each time? My guess is infinity.

Red Dawn day!

As a 9 year old I thought it was the greatest movie ever and would never be surpassed. I mean, C Thomas Howell!

I hope the remake doesn't ruin a good memory for me. I like the Thor guy though, so that's good. He makes for a good Swayze.
