Mrs. Gooch and her band of teen vampire movie loving retards are going to see Hunger Games. I will have her report back this weekend.

The book is good.  Simplistic, and not with requisite level of "visceral, but the ladies love it" type stuff that I usually read, but it's good (not finished yet)...I will see the movie.

I watched Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last night.  Was pretty good.  If they hadn't made the sex (and sexual violence) scenes graphic, I would have said it was not worth watching.  But, they did, and that was compelling stuff.

Planning on watching Tinker Taylor tonight.  This past Tuesday had a couple of good releases.

It made me consider what it was about.  I enjoyed it.

Why would he lie? I've never met anyone that didn't cry at the end of that movie.

Went on a 2007-2012 comedy run this past week with mrs. hamburglar out of town.  I was surprised by how much I enjoyed A Good Old Fashioned Orgy.  If you have 90 minutes to kill and just want to shut your brain off with something you probably haven't seen before, I'd suggest it.

I didn't cry, but I was pretty moved.  I wish I would have though.

I don't really ever get moved to tears watching movies and stuff.  One time at the end of Intervention I got pretty misty eyed.  I got teary eyed at just about every conference football win last year though.

NEW ADDITION:

Owning Mahowny:

At this point, I think it's safe to say that if Phillip Seymour Hoffman is in a movie, I'm going to like it.

If you cry at lame ass movies and don't at bare minimum get teary eyed during K-State football wins, then you should leave this site. At the end of the 4OT A&M game, I was pretty choked up. Couldn't say anything or I was going to lose it. Haven't cried at a movie in years though.

The Sitter:flush: Thee worst. not funny and those kids should never be allowed to "act" again.

Girl w/ the dragon tattoo- Really good. Looking forward to this series. That girl has really came a long ways since getting banged by the facebook guy.

I have a theory about crying.  If you haven't done it in awhile, its hard to.  But if you do it once, you have the potential to start crying a lot more.  Know this girl who has dated and broken up with a couple guys.  Guys that pretty much didn't cry.  Then she would dump them and they would cry over pretty much nothing after that.

Be careful if you open those floodgates Dlew

I cry easily at movies and then I cry later when I hear the song that was playing in the part of the movie that made me cry. Even my "band of teen vampire movie loving retards" makes fun of me.

I didn't get a chance to cry at the A&M game because I was forced to stay, freezing, in the parking lot during the 4 OTs.

3rd time. It gets worse. I admire the creation of music.
Watched this a few times myself, during a bad patch of life.  It was very important for maintaining sanity at the time.  I have the soundtrack, can sing loud like Glen in my car.

I don't know what it is, I guess.  Just seeing everybody being completely full of bliss in complete unison is pretty neat.  You hardly ever get to see people so happy all at the same time.  It's a pretty unique phenomenon, really, and I love it.  Everybody forgets about their worries, just for a short spell.  When you pause and recognize it in the moment (which I always try to do) it's hard not to be a little overcome by emotion.

It's kind of going along the same line as what Fatty was talking about in my sig.

DIRTY WORK

Watched it last night.  Some cheap laughs, definitely, but the cast is insane.  Norm Macdonald, Artie Lange, Chevy Chase, Chris Farley, Shooter Mcgavin.  Norm's delivery get's me every time.

i enjoyed this movie as well.

that seneca guy tho was the creepy guy from american beauty (my fav movie all time btw).

anyway, a guy i went to hs with roomed with that guy's brother at washburn.  he visted his brother a lot i guess, but i never got a chance to meet him, kinda sad about that.

anyway, the brother was a churchy youth minister or something, and my friend described his room as smelling of "stale cum".  pretty disgusting.
