Django Unchained is very fun on rewatch.

Edit: and Christoph Waltz is an absolute gem of a man.

Waltz/Western cross post. Have had "Dead for a Dollar" on my list to watch for awhile now.

Also, if you know you're going to get stuck inside for a day due to weather.... watch Lonesome Dove

I watched Lonesome Dove last week. And in fact I did end up watching Inglourious Basterds (again) last night.

So I love(d) Save The Last Dance until I saw this from the homie Rob Anderson, I'll never watch it again.

The Last Duel was good. I liked how they told the story 3 times in 3 different perspectives.

Saw that TT last week and thought it was hilarious.  Never seen save the last dance.

He did another one recently about coyote ugly that was pretty good too.  A wild time for cinema.

The Last Duel was good. I liked how they told the story 3 times in 3 different perspectives.

The narrative framework was unique and enjoyable, but there were some corny ass acting performances turned in. I still had a good time, thanks in large part to noting how the 3 persons perceived the same situations differently.

They are pimping the eff out of Napoleon, it does look pretty good though. I'll probably go see it.

spot on post by spot on poster
He’s always the best character in everything he’s in!

I feel like crushin' on Waltz. Anyone got any good recs?
Inglorious Basterds is the obvious one, but it’s also the best one.  Worth multiple rewatches.  Waltz is a fantastic villain

this entire exchange is incredibly timely. i put on Inglorious Basterds basically for background noise but couldn't look away during Waltz scenes. he's amaze.
He's in "The Consultant" on Prime. Psycho character is perfect for him.

Lucky for me I'm incapable of identifying bad acting unless it's Paul Walker (RIP) level or worse.

Napoleon is soooooo dissapointing.

Battles/costumes/picture are amazing

The dialogue is awful/corny  Very much in the vein of Last Duel

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I enjoyed the new Godzilla.  It felt like a big departure from the last few massive CGI hollywood style Godzillas.  There was more story to this one.

I also watched it in a Screenx theater that projects on the side walls.  Pretty frivolous but was fun to try once.

lil sd and I rented out a theater during covid to see godzilla v. kong and it was fun. may check that one out with him.

entire extended family went to Trolls 2 over Thanksgiving and it was ok for what it was. BUT before it they showed a preview for Wonka and both my kids want to see the crap out of it and when they showed that it was directed or produced or something by the person who did Paddington (GOAT Movies) I also want to see it.

Bone Tomahawk was fun. It was a simple story but that didn't seem to hold it back. I really loved Kurt Russell in this one.
