I enjoyed Shang-Chi quite a bit

i watched it last night and it is SO GOOD! i have watched very few marvels and it absolutely does not matter. i loved it.

Marvel is just really good at making movies right now.

They are, but Shang Chi really was a pleasant surprise. Overall a remarkable win streak for Marvel though. I thought momentum would die down after Endgame but they’re still killing it.

Going to rewatch Royal Tenenbaums for the 200th time. Going to fall asleep during for the 87th time. Gene Hackman in this is one of my favorite acting performances of all time.

an all-timer.

Watched it for the first time on Friday. I enjoyed it.

The Power of the Dog: rough ridin' loved it. really really liked the entire thing and some will say the ending was predictable but i didn't see it coming and i think it was perfect.

i think i watched Killing Them Softly around when it came out ten (10!) years ago, and didn't like it that much. re-watched the other night and it's much better than i remember. i don't think i comprehended that it was a comedy on my first go-round, since it is so incredibly dark/cynical.
