i think i like a mighty wind more, but BiS is so good.

I could watch all those guys just making peanut butter sandwiches in characters of their choice and I'd be overjoyed. Waiting for Guffman was the first one that I saw, so I am still a bit partial to that one.
Yeah, the "bastard people" part of that movie always gets me.  Also Harry Scherer's puppet thing at the end.

Finally watched 'Logan'.  Not as good as the trailer but pretty good.  Wowee, a lot of blood and guts and heads rolling on the ground. I think it would have been better, and more emotional, if I'd watched any of the other X-Men movies.  They don't interest me for some reason despite liking super hero movies.  Should I have watched them?

Watched The Happiest Season with the wife last night.  Dan Levy is great and the rest of the movie is ok.

Yes! Love this movie. It's definitely not for everyone, though. I've watched it about 4 times. Not everyone I showed it to liked it. But it is truly a unique movie, and I appreciate that.

Canadian guy I know ate way too many PED's before seeing this and may have had a a small panic attack. He did a great job of not letting on and Mrs. Canadian guy I know had no clue.

I watched this movie in theatres. Alone. Like I was the only person in the entire building I think outside of the theatre employees.

I probably didn't like it as much as you but agree with the unique movie aspect.  If a movie can do something that I haven't seen a dozen times, I'm typically pretty satisfied at the end of it.

Both.  Similar to Hereditary, the gore isn't just generic horror movie stuff but grounded in a realism that makes it particularly off-putting.

This is accurate. There's only one scene off the top of my head that I would call "gore." And it's brief, but jarring.

Added to my playlist. I live in the area, thought I had heard that name before.

Just watched the new Mulan on Disney+.  Not that good, kind of boring, Mulan is a superhero somehow.

It makes me happy so many people love best in show. I put it above Guffman and the others but that’s just me. They’re all really good. We met at a Starbucks, well not the same Starbucks but....
