Parts were funny and parts were insightful/interesting.  A lot of it was just plain lazy in the explanations for his actions.  They pretty much go "Dick Cheney did this because he's evil" at points.  I thought Bale's performance was almost as good as Malek's, he was just playing the opposite of a gay charismatic rock star.

I still say it's worth seeing for the high points.

Cool hand Luke - had never seen this, and never knew what it was even about. Paul Newman is just great, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. 7/7

Also I couldn't place the Captain's voice and then like 3/4 of the way through I'm like oh wow this is the intro to civil war by guns n' roses  :Jammin':

Spiderman into the spiderverse was very cool.  I very much enjoyed it.  My two sons also enjoyed it.  My daughter also enjoyed it.  My wife did not go.

I knew this was a classic, but I didn't believe I had seen it. Once they mentioned the egg bet I suddenly remembered watching it with pops as a youngster.

Glass was awful.  Unbreakable is one of my favorite movies and split was not bad.  But Glass was brutal.

Ex Machina. Holy rough ridin' crap how had I not seen this already! I literally got chills during the ending. Wow.

Man what other gems have I missed out on that I’ll see 3 years after they came out.

Watching for the second time and I was curious what language he used to reprogram the security system towards the end.  Python is a great machine learning language and it makes sense that that’s what the system would be built in.  This raises the holy crap realism of this movie.  So great.

I really enjoyed, FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened. I remember when this was in the news a couple years back, but the documentary had so many more interesting details.

Watched The Mule over the weekend. Solid movie. My biggest complaint was that there were no other characters that developed other than Clint Eastwood's character.

4.25/7

Watched the Netflix one last night. This all happened less than 2 years ago, yet I don't remember it at all. Pretty funny stuff.

I started IO on Netflix a couple days ago.  Nothing happened in the first 25 minutes so I turned it off.  If any of you have watched it and something happens that is cool after that please tell me.

I like supernatural, scary movies and The Autopsy of Jane Doe was a very good one. Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch are the lead actors. It's pretty scary and has a good storyline :ohno:

My wife liked it but I don't trust her taste in movies and you probably shouldn't either

There's two of them? The documentary is the only thing that popped up for us last night and we watched it. I don't have any idea how I never heard about this before. Pretty embarrassing for that dude.

Hulu tried to big-time Netflix by releasing one they had secretly acquired a few days before the Netflix one was supposed to be released.
