Saw Aquaman last night. Pretty good! 5/7 raccoons.

I was admittedly pretty damn pumped when he showed up in the classic outfit for the first time.

Watched Collateral (2004) for the first time this weekend. Pretty good movie.

Tom Cruise should be in any top 5 actors of all time list.

another michael mann classic, great movie

LOVED Heat. Saw that for the first time too relatively recently. Great movie.
i’m sure that you noticed that whereas heat was primarily shot with a blue tint, collateral was shot in brown tones.  his cinematography is absolutely fantastic and an act in and of itself.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Ok, now that you mention it I can definitely see that.

I thought how the final scene of Heat was shot was unbelievable. One of my favorite endings/scenes of a movie.

Man, I've been an absolute movie watching fool lately.  This is what I've watched in about the last two weeks -- I think this is all of them:

Hell or High Water - Very, very good.  Had high hopes coming in and it exceeded them.

Finally just watched. Thought it would be more like No Country For Old Men, but it was still great. 6/7
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

Watched more movies this weekend:

1. 3:10 to Yuma.  Appointment viewing for anyone who likes Westerns.
2. The Lobster.  This is a challenging movie.  Pretty bleak, but certainly has some moments.
3. Marjorie Prime.  this was another slow-one that wasn't what i would call "uplifting."  Yeah, feel free to skip this one and The Lobster.  They're fine and do some interesting things, but your time is probably better spent elsewhere.
4. Bohemian Rhapsody.  This was terrific.  Great tunes.  Malek is great.  Story/writing felt a little hollow, but maybe that's just because I heard the story/writing was a little hollow going into it.  Overall, a nice time at the movies.

Agreed on Game Night. Surely everyone recognizes Coach Eric Taylor of Friday Night Lights fame. But did anyone pick up on the fact that the cop/neighbor is Landry? :sdeek:

I think I may have meant to type 6/7 for Game Night.  Very fun movie so I'll revise it to 5.5/7.     :don'tcare:

Game Night was pretty good. Not as funny as Horrible Bosses but still pretty funny. Probably more of a rental.

Even kdub loved game night, amazing

@Dlew12 had recommended to me "Lars and The Real Girl".

csourk's thoughts: Very good motion picture. Great story. Good characters and acting. Very heartfelt.

5.5/7
