Got around to Bohemian Rhapsody last night.  Very enjoyable.  The dude who played Freddie was great and the guy they got to play Brian May looks just like him too.  The Wayne's World callback was kinda funny.  I scoff at the notion that Live Aid was hardly getting any donations until Queen took the stage though, but whatever.  Also how great would it have been to be one of Freddie Mercury's cats?

When I got home I found their entire Live Aid performance on YouTube, man they absolutely killed it that day.

The meticulous shot for shot remake of it in the film is crazy

It's just that one 15 minute or so scene but you could.  I thought the movie version highlighted Raimi Malek's performance though.

It reminded me of the end of The Disaster Artist and the clips side by side with The Room.  I enjoyed that quite a bit.  BR was far more nuanced and specific in the recreation though.

Have you ever seen a touch of evil? Old Orson Welles movie, really good with one of the goat opening long shots. Also Charlton Heston plays a Mexican.

It's worth a watch otherwise, it feels much more modern than 1958

I watched it a few days ago and would have given it the same rating/review.

could it be considered a slightly overlapping sequel?

yes, plot-wise you could consider it Braveheart II.

relative only to Braveheart, Outlaw King:
-has less cheese
-has an overall weaker cast (although the 4 mains are all good)
-features characters (especially the English ones) that are more three-dimensional than their universally evil/weak Braveheart counterparts
-has more dongs and fewer asses
-feels less "epic"; this could be because it's on netflix, or because it's more focused on internal conflict, or because i was not a teenager upon first viewing. hard to really pinpoint. the 90s cranked out some epics tho didn't they? wow

also the term "Braveheart" refers to Robert the oscar IRL (not William Wallace)  :don'tcare:

Are you saying that’s not who it referred to in the movie?

too many pronouns in this sentence to know what you're asking
