Captain Underpants was a solid meh.  If you have a 5-8 year old, they will love the movie, because poop is said a TON, and that is hilarious.  Other than that, very meh.

Took the whole family to see GOTGv2. Great movie. Way exceeded my expectations for a sequel. So many LOL moments. The only small negative was the character development pieces and how they sometimes felt forced in at weird spots in the movie. You'd be smack dab in the middle of an action sequence and - wait, let's take a two minute break for yet another awkward monologue to develop these characters. Also coulda shaved about 10 minutes from Ego and improved the movie.

My kids loved baby groot. I loved baby groot. And Drax and Rocket and Xandu.

Wonder Woman as a lot of fun.  My kids loved it.  It think it was a solid B+.  I definitely like the Marvel movies more than DC movies, but this was my favorite DC movie.

Me Before You.  Not bad.  Wife cried.  I didn't like how everyone in his life caved at the end and happily helped him kill himself.  Didn't seem true to their emotions throughout the rest of the movie.

Logan spoilers....









Logan was sad.  I am a huge Wolverine fan (my first comic book fav), and had delayed seeing it because I didn't want to see him die.  Very sad movie for me.  Weird, I know, but it kinda got to me, man.  I just love Wolverine a bunch, I guess.

Beauty and the Beast sucked.  Which sucks because I really thought it was going to be good.  I really liked the new live-action Cinderella and I loved the new live-action Jungle Book so I had high expectations. It was pretty bad.  I think it was just one of those movies that really works as a cartoon and doesn't as live-action.
