I'm tired of the blatant and widespread disrespect for MI2.  That movie is great.

I do like that part at the beginning when he gets the secret message in the sunglasses and then he throws them right at the screen and they blow up.

I enjoyed it but yeah its not best picture worthy. There have been other sci fi movies the past few years like Gravity, Interstellar, etc that were much better in recent years.

Saw Spotlight today. Good movie, but the story and subject matter were better and more powerful than the actual film if that makes sense.

None of the movies nominated for awards can compete with Room IMO. I'm still devestated by that one.

i watched a couple 30 for 30's the last few days:

The Two Escobars: very good. didn't really know any of that history, fascinating stuff.

Trojan War: i had kind of forgotten that we gave Pete Carroll his first loss, and they didn't lose a non-con game at home again until 2010 (ND). also i don't know if k-state has a better regular season win in its history than '02 USC.
