I have a guilty pleasure for the movie Spring Breakers. It was on HBO again last night. I mean, Franco killed it!

I really thought he was going to pimp those girls out.

Depends on your mood. If you are going to watch 2 I'd watch it first and end with the Martian. I tend to like ending my movie watching marathons with a funny one to leave me in good spirits. I'd go all out if I was you and watch 2, then 3, then 1.

Master of none is fantastic but I don't know that it's an engrossing binge watch show.  Probably works best as a few nights in a row before bed or something.

Tonight was the first night I've witnessed a sold out theater empty out following the conclusion of a movie without so much as a word being uttered.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

The new "Point Break" wow what a pile of crap 2/7. The only reason it gets a 2 is that it is so comically bad it is somewhat entertaining. The plot is bad. The dialog is cheesy and bad. The #acting is bad. The CGI is bad. Hell, even the tattoos are bad.

I should have got up and left after the big "hey I'm a cop" reveal which subsequently lead to a chase that ended with Johnny Utah laying on the ground firing his gun in the air screaming as Bodie escapes but I wanted to see just how bad it could really get. It did not disappoint. This little train of shittyness kept rolling down the tracks.

There is a reason the studio released this up against Star Wars. It is a giant turd and they were trying to bury it like a cat does it's crap. So so bad.

The Revenant looks great, as it did in the trailer (Lubezki) but is as hallow as a fallen, frozen tree (Inarritu).

The End of the Tour has more to say.

I watched Black Mass last night.  I thought it was fine.  Though I thought for how long the movie was, there really wasn't much story.  Oh well, enjoyable to watch.

Also watched Bone Tomahawk and it was really, really great.  Would recommend to just about anyone, though it is gory at times (and at one point, it is VERY gory -- could've done without that).

Watched Bone Tomahawk last week and this is spot on.  I wish I hadn't watch that one part, good grief.  They should cut that visual and just point the camera at Kurt for a reaction shot and just use sounds to let the audience decipher what happened.

This movie is awful. Tom Hardy was better in Locke.
