i am going to skip that movie b/c the guy in it looks like an alien.  also of note is that i thought this was one of the hunger game movies.

Babadook was excellent.  Good horror and also good depiction of parents sometimes regretting their shitty kids (I imagine this is the case pretty often)

just watched this last night - REALLY good psychological thriller, highly recommend

Q for those who have seen Ex Machina: why does the richest/most powerful tech guy in the world use Motel 6 keycards for the doors in his house?

The only holes that need to be poked into motion pictures are the ideological/philosophical themes of the filmmakers, by way of characters or events.

Who cares what ki

Pete should be good. Sadly probably won't make it out this opening weekend to see this blockbuster...

Home is a good kids movie. Boov people are funny.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Avengers was fun.  Great special effects, and the Ultron character with James Spader is enjoyable.

Black widow/Hulk story line was dumb.

Did you ever see the Judge Dredd remake?  That was really cool, and I was hoping to hear that Robocop was similar.

original robocop is the only movie that disturbed me as a kid.  i still can barely watch the scene where he's getting all shot up as a human.  i don't know why, it's not that graphic really.
