Birdman was excellent. It's an above average role for Edward Norton and that is really saying something.

American Sniper was pretty good. Bradley Cooper's PTSD kind of pissed me off sometimes, but he was a badass in Fallujah.

i finally saw Her. pretty good.

Showtime had a free preview last weekend and I also caught this.  Very enjoyable, except I was slightly bothered by the highwaisted pants guys are apparently wearing in the future.  And the moustaches.

When I think about the movie "HER", I think about that scene from "two girls, one cup" and how hard it was to finish that crap show. Very similar performances in all.

I thought American Sniper was pretty good, I thought that it left out a lot of what made the book really good.

I scored a high quality bootleg of Birdman.  I tried to watch it, but turned it off after about 30 minutes...just seemed depressing and not really funny.

Birdman was excellent. It's an above average role for Edward Norton and that is really saying something.

He was in two movies last year, and they were by far my favs of '14. He is such a delight.
